The Year Ahead

December 2015

I hope you've had a wonderful Christmas break and lots of fun this holiday season!

This is just a short update to let you know that there will likely be a new offering next year. The details aren't yet finalised, but it will probably involve weekly phone sessions for a set period of time, and a combination of intuitive guidance and practical strategies that can be put to use straight away. I've felt an impulse to do this for quite a while now, and it's been getting stronger lately. I often tell other people how important it is to trust their own intuition, so I'm going to practice what I preach and give this idea a shot.

Although I love passing on information and messages that come through during readings, I also like the idea of going further and working with people in a very practical way to process, understand, and apply those messages so that it can make a real positive difference in their lives.

I remember doing a reading in early 2014 for a lady who asked for some guidance about her alcohol use. I turned to the image I had of her guides, who stayed quiet and appeared to point straight at me, as if to say, “You know how to answer this one”. I shared a few techniques to help her cut down on her drinking, while the guides seemed to nod in agreement. As someone who's worked in the area of addiction, I know there are certain tools and strategies which can be very effective in overcoming an alcohol problem. Still, I felt amused that the guides' advice in this case had been for me to share my own knowledge.

I'm looking forward to seeing how all of this may unfold in the year ahead. Over time I've been more willing to trust and act on my intuition, but of course there's always room for improvement. So, in addition to setting a few new year's resolutions which I enjoy doing at the end of every year, one of my main intentions for 2016 is to fully embrace any intuitive hunches and guidance that comes up.

As always, thank you for your support over the past year. Wishing you a fantastic & happy new year, and all the best for 2016 x
